silver where it's needed most, providing the antimicrobial activity of silver in highly cost-effective and durable coatings.

Bacteria and fungi can cause disease and allergies as well as lead to foul odors. Silver is known to inhibit these nuisance microbes rapidly and efficiently. Unfortunately, studies show that existing silver antimicrobial treatments are removed after as few as 4 rinses with water (1), dramatically reducing product performance.

LinkedON Silver™ Antimicrobials Are Different.

Sold as a water-soluble solid or as a concentrated solution, LinkedON Silver™ can be applied to cotton, rayon, linen, nylon and wool fabrics in a similar fashion as traditional fiber reactive dyes. Application is compatible with existing manufacturing processes and can be carried out at the thread, textile or finished garment stage for greater flexibility.

Silver Lifetime

Extensive testing (AATCC Method 100) has shown that these coatings inhibit >99% of microorganisms that can spread disease or cause unpleasant odors. Further testing shows that, unlike the competitors, LinkedON Silver™ treated fabrics retain their biocidal activity even after 50 washes (AATCC Method 150).

Covalent attachment and slow elution of silver ensure that LinkedON Silver™ treated products have a low environmental footprint.
